First Day of Preschool

All ready for year two of preschool, same school, same teacher almost all the same friends.  It was much easier to drop off this year.  They will be gone M, W and F this year.  I miss them when they are done but they have so much fun and Abby gets to paint all the time.  They are getting so big but they are still so sweet, I love these girls.

Glow ON

Today I ran a fun 5K, yes yes I may be getting out of control with all these races but it is so much FUN!  Paige made me the shirt above with glow in the dark stickers- Love her!!  Check out my glowing lip stick and finger nails- pretty!  I thought I had an awesome time in this 5K which should have been 3.1 miles and my time was 25 minutes 31 seconds but someone told me the course was short and it was only 2.85 miles- oh well.  This was one of my favorite fun runs.  Love the picture!!

Middle School

Today was Paige's first day of Middle school.  How did she grow up so fast!  I know she will do great and just needs to be her awesome self and everyone will love her.  Paige you make me so PROUD!!

Why not TRY??

Today I can cross one of my goals off my list. Do a Triathlon- check! I have wanted to Try one for about a year.  I found one close to home and it was called the Women's Only TRYathlon.  It was perfect.  300 yard swim, 6 mile bike ride and 2 mile run.  I did all this in 50 minutes and 13 seconds.  I was 8th in my age group and our age group started first so it felt pretty good.  I am a member of a group on Facebook called Sole Sisters, most of us are stay at home moms that like to run.  I shared my goal on there and that is how I got these two other wonderful women to join me that day.  It was nice to have people to share my goal with and train with and support me.  My mom and dad, sisters Jenny and Katie and Paige came out to cheer me on.  I just LOVE the sign that Paige made me,  We all did so great and felt like super stars.  There was a time in my life when I did not feel very strong, doing events like this make me feel so much stronger than I ever thought I could be.

Mall Of America

OK, OK so I have been really slow lately but that is because we have been BUSY!  We went to Mall of America in July.  We had a great time.  The vacation started out with a scare as D was really sick and we had to take her to the Dr.  She officially has Asthma ( which was not a big surprise).   They put her on some good medication and she was better pretty fast and we were able to start out vacation.  We went to the American Girl store and got to eat lunch with borrowed American Girl Dolls and our new build a bear friends.  Abby made a Dog named Cheeto face and Paige a cat named red Tail and Delaney a bear named Delaney- Sop.  We also went to The Nickelodeon Studios and saw Dora and all out favorite characters.  D loved this part and Abby was not so sure. The rides were fun, Paige went on all the big rides.  We ate at Rainforest Cafe, went to the Water park of America and the Aquarium.  We had some great family time!
