Shake, shake, shake

Paige got an ice cream making ball for her birthday and we used it last night!  It worked great and was a good workout!  It was a little heavy for A and D to shake and Rob's picture made him look like a serial killer so I deleted it.  I look a little crazy but I was being silly and wanted to make sure this ice cream worked out!  YUM! YUM!

Party like it's your birthday!

It was a hot one!

What have we been doing all summer?

YUP that is about it :)  Well worth the money the girls love this pool.

Biking Challenge update: not going as well as planned. The first day we biked to Holmes Lake about three miles from my door to where Paige's fishing class was meeting 6 mile round trip.  Not too far, but the hills!  Pulling 60 pounds, the extra amount of time it took to get there.  We biked up right at 9 when the class started.  Paige pulled off her helmet and her head was all sweaty and I was out of breath and had a hard time talking to the teacher.  I then decided I would let Abby and Delaney play at the park while Paige was at class then we would all bike back.  Well Delaney had to go potty and the potty was far away so I biked them to the potty.  When we got to the potty Delaney told me it was too bumpy and she could not hold it, so home we went for more clothes.  I then decided to drive back I was tired, I had to clean out the bike trailer for Ds accident and it was HOT!  So...we drove the rest of the week.  Biking Challenge fail :( We do bike to the library , four miles round trip and the park.  This week A and D have VBS and that is not a "bikeable" distance.  We will start up again next week and bike to the pool for swim team for Paige.

I have signed up to try a triathlon.  It is a women's only super sprint triathlon.  It is a 300 yard swim, a 6 miles bike ride and a 2 mile run.  Two friends from my moms group have also decided to do it with me so that is exciting.

Paige just told me today that she want to do it too.  They have a division that is shorter half the distance of everything so I have to see if they have a minimum age, it would be fun to have her do this with me :)

The Jiggler

Last week we went to see a Juggler show that was put on my our local libraries.  It was really great and he even had fire in his show.  Abby loved it but insisted he was called the Jiggler.  She has been pretty funny lately always telling me I say things wrong are that I am using the wrong name for things she is pretty sure of herself.

Farmer's market

Last Saturday we did one of our favorite things and we to the farmer's Market.  Abby and Delaney got cute balloons, Abby's was a sword and Delaney's was a poodle.  Abby's sword did not last long after we got home, but they loved them

Run Run as fast as you can

So in the morning Saturday a group of us from my mom's group formed a team for the Havelock Charity Run team name Sole Sisters.  We placed third place!!  They got rid of the women's division this year so we were in a mixed division so that was AWESOME!!!  We did great.  It was a 3K and even though I ran it 6 seconds slower that I did last year it felt great.  I normally am not able to run at such a fast pace for my longer runs so it feels good to run fast.  We had a mix of runners on our team from a girl who has run a full marathon to people who were running their first race.  It is such a great group of women supporting each other and a fun fun time!!

Sunday Rob and I did our Warrior Dash.  This was kind of crazy.  The running part was way harder that I thought.  It started with a big hill , then more hills and more hills.  I told Rob I would stay with him since he is not a runner but I was secretly glad when we wanted to walk at times :)  The obstacles were challenging but not too challenging just enough to be fun and not too hard.  I thought I was going to have to stay in the mud put forever, I could not get out but Rob was nice and helped me.  He also then beat me by one second and will tell everyone he sees that he beat me.  He loved it and is already talking about doing it again.  It was a fun time. I am proud of him and we got some pretty cool helmets to wear.
